Generating 100K YouTube Views for B2B SaaS in One Year

At a software integration platform, video was occasionally used to demonstrate new product features for internal presentations and prospects.

I worked with the content and design team to formalize a scalable, repeatable video creation process with a dual-purpose: (1) to give sales and marketing a new content type to plug into campaigns and (2) to reach a new audience considering integration solutions on YouTube. 

My responsibilities: identify video topics, record and edit videos, train teams on product functionality demonstrated in videos.


The Goals:

  • Equip marketing and sales with an easy way to demonstrate product functionality.

  • Develop new marketing channel and audience with YouTube.

The Approach:

  • Identify video topics based on keyword research, most popular integrations, and sales opportunities.  

  • Develop scripts and process to streamline video production.

The Results:

Within 12 months:

  • Created over 40 demo videos for sales teams to use in outreach.

  • Generated over 110K YouTube channel views in 2023.

  • Increased website traffic from YouTube by 185% between 2022 and 2023.

  • Enriched multiple marketing channels (LinkedIn, website, and email) with video.
